Celebrating an Amazing Partnership: Mums Who Build (The MOB) and Location Location
At Mums Who Build (The MOB), our mission is to empower mums by helping them build financially secure futures and offering them a supportive ecosystem to thrive both personally and professionally. This year, we were fortunate to collaborate with the incredible team at Location Location in Stoke Newington, East London. Since the partnership began in September 2024, it has blossomed into a journey filled with inspiration, growth, and connection (and all that's in just three months!).
A Partnership Built on Shared Values
The synergy between Mums Who Build and Location Location stems from our shared commitment to fostering community, supporting personal development, and championing women to achieve their goals. With the leadership of Vicky, Anna, and their team, this partnership has been instrumental in creating spaces where mums can feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Highlights from the Year
From the moment we kicked off the partnership, the energy and enthusiasm have been palpable. Here's a look at what we've achieved together so far:
Mums Who Build Launch Party In September, Location Location hosted a vibrant and heartwarming launch party to celebrate the Mums Who Build community. This event marked the beginning of a shared journey and brought together like-minded mums ready to build their networks and futures. The atmosphere was electric, filled with meaningful conversations and new connections that continue to flourish.
Workshops That Matter To address the unique challenges faced by our community, we organised two impactful workshops:
Tackling Impostor Syndrome: This session focused on breaking down self-doubt and building confidence, empowering mums to step into their full potential. It was an intimate, fun and eye-opening experience, with Vicky and Anna sharing personal stories and strategies to overcome this common barrier that holds so many of us back from reaching our full potential.
Vision and Goal Setting: Hosted by Vicky, this workshop was designed to help mums articulate their 2025 dreams and develop actionable steps. It was a powerful exercise in clarity and intention and all the mums left feeling motivated and equipped with tools to turn their visions into reality.
A Safe Space for Real Conversations
What makes these events truly special is the deliberate effort to keep them small and intimate. By limiting the number of attendees, we’ve created a safe and supportive environment where mums can openly share their experiences—whether it’s the challenges of building a successful business, the frustration of navigating careers, or the balancing act of life and motherhood.
These sessions have been more than just networking opportunities; they’ve become transformative experiences where women uplift and inspire each other through honest dialogue and shared learning.

The next Mums Who Build, Stoke Newington event for mums, will be on Wednesday 15 January and will be talking about financial security and planning for 2025.
