Why Mums Building a Business Should Embrace Co-Working, by Mobster Hannah, Wanstead Works

Co-Working is a Game-Changer

If you’re feeling overwhelmed juggling motherhood and entrepreneurship, give co-working a shot. It’s more than just a place to work; it’s about finding a supportive environment where you can thrive both as a mum and a business owner.
At the end of the day, co-working spaces can help you reclaim your productivity, enjoy some “you” time, and surround yourself with inspiring people. So, why not treat yourself to some co-working magic? You deserve to build the business of your dreams while still being the amazing mum you are!

The MOB (Mums Who Build) x Wanstead Works partnership

Supporting mums in the community aligns perfectly with Wanstead Works' vision of creating a welcoming, flexible, and inclusive environment. Providing a space where mothers can balance work, personal growth, and community engagement is so valuable. And that is why we are excited to be partnering with The MOB (Mums Who Build), offering weekly Monday and Wednesday co-working for mobster mums and monthly evening events especially for women who are building a business.

Mobster mondays + Wednesdays Co-work at Wanstead Works

On Mondays and Wednesdays join fellow like-minded, inspiring mobsters, for a day of co-work, and on Mondays enjoy the extra bonus of complimentary 40 minute lunchtime Flow Yoga to ease you back into your afternoon.
All members of the MOB community get a 50% discount on Mobster Co-working Wednesdays (£10 instead of the usual £20) providing Mobsters a more affordable option for non-members to experience the space, along with additional perks like granola, fruit and unlimited tea or coffee.
Sign into The MOB website and head to the Benefits page to get the 50% Wanstead Works discount code. Use the code and pay on arrival. No need to book.

Networking Events for Women Business Owners

Over the past year, Wanstead Works has partnered with Mums Who Build, connecting The MOB community with other inspiring women. Every month we get together for the hugely popular Women In Business (WIB) networking events - an evening where we celebrate and raise a glass to the incredible businesses, and women behind them, at the Wanstead Works co-work space.
It’s been a brilliant year so far and to celebrate the 8th Women In Business event of 2024, and to kick-start the festive season, Wanstead Works are going BIG for the next one...

Save the date: The Women In Business End of Year Party - Friday 22 November

“Leave your cars at home, book your babysitters, and celebrate with us the Wanstead Works way!! Expect lots of laughter, fun, and good times as we change the format for this one-off event, with DJs, Frozen Margaritas, Pop stands, Appetisers, and a members' bar with cocktails, Prosecco and more pouring all night!
