Welcome to The House of Hormones!

I’m Leah, the founder of this wellness platform dedicated to helping women navigate the often confusing world of hormonal health. With my background as a psychologist and a mother, I know how overwhelming it can be to prioritise health amidst the chaos of daily life.

My Personal Journey into Hormonal Wellness

My journey into hormonal wellness began from a very personal place. As a new mum, I faced sleepless nights and constant demands, which took a significant toll on my physical and emotional health. Although I understood the importance of mental balance, I was shocked to discover how intertwined it was with my hormonal health.
Hormonal changes, especially after having children, threw me into a whirlwind of emotions, energy crashes, and perplexing health symptoms. I quickly realised that understanding hormonal health wasn’t just important for me—it was vital for all women. We often place ourselves last on the priority list, but our hormonal health significantly impacts our daily functioning and overall well-being.

The Mission of The House of Hormones

The House of Hormones was born out of a desire to simplify the complexities of women’s health. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the busy lives we lead and the confusing world of hormonal wellness. We provide trusted information and reliable solutions without the overwhelm of endless Google searches.

Navigating the Maze of Women’s Health

Women’s health can feel like a maze filled with misinformation. Hormonal health, in particular, is challenging to navigate. With countless opinions, supplements, and approaches, it can be tough to know what to trust.
At The House of Hormones, we do the hard work for you. We take research, science, and evidence-backed practices and break them down into simple, actionable steps. Our resources help you address issues like PMS, perimenopause, and PCOS, and maintain hormonal balance.

Supporting Financial Independence and Wellness

As a mother, I’ve learned how crucial financial independence is, especially when raising a family. Balancing work, health, and motherhood can be challenging, and it fuels my passion for helping other women carve out paths to both security and wellness.
I love being part of the Mums Who Build community—a supportive space for women to uplift each other while building businesses and futures for themselves and their families. I believe that when women achieve financial freedom, their mental and emotional well-being improves as well.

The Value of Communities like mums who build

At The House of Hormones, we share values with the Mums Who Build community. We understand the incredible power of women supporting one another. As mothers, we nurture our children and our own dreams, ambitions, and futures. Building a business while being a mum is challenging, but it’s also empowering and rewarding.

what is World menopause day?

World Menopause Day is held every year on 18th October. The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and well being. The MOB community aims to build as much awareness and knowledge around the menopause as possible, to help mobsters in our community prepare for it in the best way possible. And for those mobsters who are already going through it - to ensure they are fully supported as they navigate the challenging symptoms that can arise from it.
